As a mom, I believe that coaching is one of the best investments you can make in yourself. After all, the journey of a modern-day mother's career isn't linear, and the job market is constantly changing. When I first became a mom, I found that the typical run-of-the-mill career advice out there just didn't apply the same way. Priorities shift, and suddenly the overwhelm of figuring out your own career feels oh-so-real! That’s where a coach like me can help. Together, we’ll connect the dots in a way that feels practical and encouraging, inviting you to start taking action that will have positive returns on both your career and your family.

The Career Change Mom
You want to make a change. Your job and your values feel misaligned, and you’re trying to show up in a way that no longer fits who you are as a mother. You’re worried that if you pivot now, you’ll have to start over. You continue to push through because “it’s not that unbearable yet”. You’re sick of your lack of flexibility, toxic leadership, false promises of promotion, long commute, and increased workload…but stability & golden handcuffs have kept you from moving elsewhere.
The Return to Work Mom
You want to re-join the workforce. You had a career before kids, but took a pause to put the full focus on family life. Your babies are growing up, and suddenly there’s more time to dedicate to your career. You decide that it’s time to return to paid work, but your old shoes don’t quite fit the same way. You’re overwhelmed by where to start and think “maybe I’m just not ready”. You haven’t updated your resume in years, and you’ve got more athleisure in your closet than you know what to do with.
The Career Pause Mom
You want to plan a career break without losing your ambition. This isn’t the first time you’ve considered a career pause to make more room for family life, but you want to approach it with intentionality and a plan. You’re ready to rediscover who you are in this phase of life, while creating a completely new definition of work… but the guilt and the judgement that stem from outdated stereotypes of motherhood stop you in your tracks. “What if I lose my edge? What will happen when I want to return to the workplace someday?” And yet, you can’t quite shake the feeling that a career pause might be right for you.

It all begins with a brief intro call to ensure that I’m the right fit for you. I’ll then use my expertise to recommend a plan for future sessions based on your specific goals. During each session, we’ll go beyond the typical cover letter advice and interview tactics. We take small, safe steps to [re]build confidence and deconstruct self-doubt while navigating challenges between work and family life. And yes, we also work to get you best prepared for the job market (think resume audits, job search strategies, interview prep, networking templates, etc.)
