Who This is For?

  • The Career Change Mom

Her job and her values feel misaligned, and she’s trying to show up in a way that no longer fits who she is as a mother. She’s worried that if she leaves now, she’ll have to “start over”. She continues to push through because “it’s not that unbearable yet”. She’s hanging on by a thread at work, telling herself it’s a miracle she hasn’t quit. She’s sick of her toxic boss, false promises of promotion, long commute, and increased workload. But familiarity & money keep her put.

  • The Return to Work Mom

She had a career before kids, but took a pause to put the full focus on family life. Her babies are growing up, and suddenly there’s more time to dedicate to her career. She decides it’s time to return to paid work, but her old shoes don’t quite fit the same way. She’s overwhelmed by where to start and thinks “maybe I’m just not ready”. She hasn’t updated her resume in years, and she’s pretty sure she’s got more athlei in her closet than she knows what to do with. She wonders if she’s been out of the game for too long.

  • The Career Pause Possibility Mom

This isn’t the first time she’s considered a career pause to make more room for family life, but she wants to approach it with intentionality and plan. She’s ready to rediscover who she is in this phase of her life, while creating a completely new definition of work. She can’t shake the guilt and judgement that stem from dated stereotypes of motherhood. She’s worried that if she pauses, she might lose her edge or have too wide of a gap in her resume. And yet, the feeling sticks that she wants to be more present with her kids.
